My role is ensuring safe, efficient and effective delivery of medications to residents. This position combines leadership responsibilities with direct nursing care, including medication administration, monitoring for side effects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The Team Leader provides direction and support to the nursing staff/ care team promotes best practice and ensures compliance standards

• Supervise and support a team of Nursing assistants and care team during assigned shifts.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and ensure e tasks are completed effectively.
• Conduct shift hand-overs and communicate relevant clinical information.
• Mentoring new team members, with training and performance feedback
• Prepare and administer medications according to prescribed orders and protocols
• Contributed to a safe nursing environment by adhering to infection control protocols during medication administration.
• Monitor for adverse reactions, drug interactions and therapeutic effects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records
• Ensure medication storage and handling follow legal and facility guidelines
• Maintain thorough timely, and confidential documentation.
