As an elected member of local government for the Shire of Cranbrook my responsibilites included

- Strategic decision making and planning.

- Reviewing, updating and implementing Shire policies

- Budget planning and decision making on grant funding.

- Liasing with residents on Shire decisions.

- Responsible for all operations of a 220ha vineyard.

- Managing up to 30 full-time and casual staff.

- Provide training and quality control for all manual vine work.

- Water catchment, storage and all irrigation including fertigation.

- Implement herbicide, fungicide and fertiliser spray programs.

- Logistics for harvest and liaising with buyers.

- Machinery & Tractor operation.

• As owner and Project Coordinator for Labour Solutions my roles included.
• Providing quotes to the viticulture and horticulture industries for the provision of casual labour.
• Training and supervising of staff.
• Ensuring all Occupational Health and safety best practices were followed.
• Staff recruitment and marketing.
