Summary

I am a trade-level zoo keeper who employs a grounded skillset, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge on a range of taxa and application of best practice principles in the provision of contemporary animal husbandry. This extends to a keen interest in the design and implementation of animal training programs, exampled by recent work incorporating most positive, least intrusive principles for managing animal health care in kangaroos and wallabies that were adopted by round staff.

I embrace the multi-discipline team approach in a workplace, and offer maturity, motivation and flexibility when collaborating amongst work teams in order to facilitate best outcomes. Recent contract roles spanning multiple teams has facilitated refinement and growth in this capacity, and engage in meetings and conversations through actively listening to colleagues, reflecting on stand points and perspectives in a respectful and effective manner while contributing to team goals.
