I stayed with them, chatting, organised family and friends/support people, transport and putting systems into place, to make sure that clients were always safe and respected.
Flood Relief runs, which I organised myself at first and then with other volunteers, for towns through New Zealand. Sourcing, food, clothing, cleaning equipment, bedding etc. Calling large businesses for support as well as Radio Stations. Also organising people to help with sorting and packing of said goods for transport. Organising the deliver to the right towns/areas, times and days. Making sure everyone knew their role and what was expected of them. As people needed us right then as they had nothing.
