- Providing effective and timely care for neurological disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis and Guillain-Barre syndrome, and involving in seizure care and management

- Caring for Stroke patients, with varying levels of acuity, and have involvement in TPA medication, clot retrievals and patient management from admission through to discharge

- Looking after patient having Neurosurgery including spinal with spinal care, pituitary and brain surgery patients, intracranial bleeds, & subdural haematoma

- Monitoring vital signs, neurological assessment, & head to toe assessment 4/24, and administer medications practising 10 rights of Medications at all time

- Performing neurological assessments, including Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) and limbs evaluations, and recognising early signs of deterioration, and escalating to ANUM and doctors timely

- Practising falls prevention, infection control & medications safety at all time

- Educating patients and families about stroke prevention, recovery processes, and discharge planning such as provision of My Stroke Pathway Journey

- Participating in in service/ward education to enhance professional development

- Delivering culturally competent care tailored to meet the diverse needs of the patient population served within the facility

- Enhancing patient satisfaction by providing compassionate, holistic nursing care that addressed physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex patients with multiple comorbidities

- Caring for patients having Parkison's Disease, such as administering medications on time, titrating Duopar pump, & movement chart

- Encouraging patients independency with ADLs and maximising patient autonomy

- Educated patients and families on discharge planning, & coping at home after rehabiltation

- Administering medications with 10 rights of Medications at all time

- Monitoring signs and escalating any abnormalities to the ANUM & doctors, contributing to timely interventions

- Caring for a wide range of different surgical patients with renal, plastic, orthopeadic, & vascular surgeries including PCA usage, post-operation observation, & IV medications etc

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient management, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.

- Performed wound care management skillfully using appropriate techniques based on the type of injury or surgical incision involved

- Working within a team with other nurses by helping and offering help to others

- Assisting in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, focusing on activities of daily living, patient comfort, and hygiene

- Providing mobility assistance, including bed positioning, transfers, and ambulation

- Assisting with feeding, nutritional support, and elimination needs for patients

- Maintaining a safe and clean patient environment and falls prevention, always ensuring patient dignity and privacy.

- Contributing to the documentation of patient care, including relevant observations and actions taken

- Ensuring that all delegated tasks are completed in line with the RUSON scope of practice and organisational policies

- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare staff, fostering positive relationships and collaborative care

- Participating in ward activities and training sessions to enhance your professional development and skills
