  • Set daily expectations that provide coordinated structure by effectively communicating clear and concise instructions to staff and young people while maintaining cultural sensitivity to instill optimism and positivity
  • Empower staff to role model positive behavior that encourages young people to have proactive engagement in educational, recreational, and cultural programs that ultimately support progressive reintegration
  • Liaise with a large multidisciplinary team such as the Executive Team, Suicide Risk Assessment Team, Behavioral Support Team, Caseworkers, Queensland Health, Education Queensland, Cultural Unit, Elders and Communities to holistically develop support plans and strategies that help rehabilitate and reintegrate young people effectively
