I was stationed at Central, which is the busiest station in the Sydney trains network, where I provided excellent customer service to all Sydney Trains customers
I would draw on my wealth of experience gained over my careers and by utilising applications on the iPhones provided as well as using the network noticeboard on the Train Locator System, to give customers up to the minute details of train running provide them with information of the local area
I also provided a safe and clean environment for passengers on the platforms and concourses by regularly patrolling the platform and making announcements of all arriving trains
My role also required that I maintain on time running of all services by making sure that trains leave on schedule and by providing details of changes to the train stopping patterns to the drivers and guards
I successfully applied for the role as an acting Station Support Officer at Central where I would serve customers and answer the phone on the front counter of Central Station, as well as looking after lost property and Inducting contractors and visitors that were working or attending meetings at Central station

I was successful in obtaining a full-time level 4 position and I stayed at Sydney Seaports becoming one of the senior officers and cruise ship coordinator in that section before becoming first the program-training officer and then acting supervisor of the 16 staff in the section
As the Controller and Airside Liaison Officer at Sydney Airport my duties were to collect statistics on airport operations, record chargeable activities and non-billable activities for billing and record keeping purposes
I designed and implemented a new Airside Controllers' spreadsheet to make the recording of, and collecting the daily statistics easier as well as making accessing the information I required easier to separate
I would answer any Airside queries by both external clients and all staff at Sydney Airport as well as answer request from head office in Canberra as well as assisting airside staff when required
