Apprentice Boilermaker

  • Blew out machines, checked welding leads and wiring and changed filters, Restocked storeroom for preventive maintenance.
  • Completed courses to help me better my trade (Working at heights, Gas testing, Confined spaces)
  • Currently in Training to become a Level 2 NDT (Non Destructive Testing) Technician/Weld Tester.
  • Interpreting Written instructions, working drawings and understanding Verbal instructions very well, i am not afraid to ask questions.
  • Working well on computers has always been a strongsuit for me, using Microsoft Excel and Outlook, as i have completed hundreds of reports on NDT tested items reliably and swiftly.
  • I can confidently communicate with customers to specify their needs, i have had my fair share of dealing with difficult and disrespectful customers and am no stranger to being disrespected/verbally abused, in which i believed has me thriving in conflict resolution.

  • Worked from early morning to late at night, this has helped me to be resilient and reliable with working long hours given there is a priority to my primary occupation.
  • Participated in general clean up of entire yard and facilities to maintain safe working environment.

  • Have no fear in getting my hands dirty and working outside in extreme conditions
  • Have dealt with rude and arrogant truck drivers responsibly and can maintain my temper well.
