Passionate and dedicated aspiring Youth Worker with a strong background in the Australian Army and currently studying a Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention. Committed to supporting vulnerable children, young people, and families by providing safe, respectful, and empowering care. Seeking to apply my growing knowledge, lived experience, and strong sense of responsibility to help break cycles of trauma and disconnection. Especially motivated to work with young people who have experienced abuse or instability, and to support them in building positive, secure futures.
To become a compassionate and effective youth worker, supporting vulnerable children, young people, and families through trauma-informed care, advocacy, and empowerment I aim to build trusting relationships, apply the skills from my Diploma of Child, Youth, and Family Intervention, and create safe environments where individuals feel heard, respected, and capable of building better futures My long-term goal is to make a lasting difference in the lives of at-risk youth by helping them overcome adversity, develop resilience, and reach their full potential.
