My family and I were involved in a local Junior sporting club, so I've had the opportunity to gain skills working in the canteen and around the clubhouse/field, as well as earning Junior Volunteer of the Year in 2022.

Duties Included:

  • Cash handling
  • Taking orders
  • Restocking fridges and shelves
  • Emptying of bins
  • Running Time and scoreboards
  • Setting up of fields on game
  • Running the Tee & water for other teams

I play Touch Football for school and outside of school, and have also been chosen to play at a Representative level.  This has challenged me to learn new skills under a different coach and fit in with a new group of peers quickly.  I also play golf out at Meadowbrook Golf Club and have just achieved my goal in getting an official Golf Australia handicap.  I get satisfaction working towards goals and achieving them.
