Liam Gillespie

My great strength in my career so far has been developing my leadership skills and building upon the elements of my work that I am constantly learning. Each time a new aspect of a role develops, I am part of the team trying to understand how to best work out solutions.

In the transfer from Derrimut to Truganina I was a dependable member of the team to ensure a smooth transistion. When issues of space and safety became part of the day-to-day at Derrimut, I was one of the members of the team trying to help both with the immediate issue and proposing solutions where possible.

I take my responsibilities seriously and always endeavour to go above what my role is described to be. It is in my nature to try and assist those around me to be better and to help those above me wherever I can. This particularly has been a consistent focus of mine in the last two years, as a senior member of the team.

I value feedback and I am always looking to collaborate with others to help processes run more smoothly and safely. If there are things that can be improved, I believe it is my duty to attempt to achieve that, as best I can.
