I have graduated year 12 in 2023 and I'm working towards an electrical apprenticeship, over the past few years I have done classes at school to help me reach my goal e.g., Cert ii engineering. And done classes at school such as building construction and technical graphics. In 2024 I’ve worked on obtaining my Certificate ii in Electrotechnology and successfully completed it in early December, i have also done work experience throughout school with Warren and his team (WJD Electrics) for multiple weeks During this time, I went out to different sites and helped perform tasks like cleaning, getting supplies and simple installations e.g. Ceiling extractors. Whereas this year i have been working with (BESC Engineering Electrical) which has been far more orientated to my goals I've been to industrial sites to help with maintenance tasks and shadowing the licensed Electrician and i have also sat along side the Engineers and see them perform their work. I believe I've taken a lot from this experience, and it's helped me a lot with my views for my future.
