Work History

Gold Coast Local Ambulance Committee Member

Queensland Ambulance service
Gold Coast
01.2022 - Current
  • For the past 3 years throughout my university degree, I have participated in several Local Ambulance Committee meetings, in which it has furthered my understanding of the importance of expanding my social networking, discussing various topics with other committee members and higher organizational members.
  • This has allowed me to gain an insight to the needs and requirements of sustaining a structured organization with beneficial fundraising events for the community, in addition to exploring new ways to benefit healthcare workers and organizing CPR awareness events within the Queensland Ambulance Service.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – Coach/volunteer

Local Ambulance Committee
01.2022 - Current
  • Throughout the 3 years I have assisted alongside paramedics with CPR training and awareness at several events along the GoldCoast. This ultimately provided the opportunity for me to engage with community members of any age, and to support the growth of life saving knowledge. I coached training sessions, utilizing fun and interactive exercises to improve technique, agility, strength and further assisting with any knowledge gaps when performing CPR.

Kitchen Attendant

  • This position has developed my communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment through managing customer requirements while plating 900+ meals in under 7 minutes.
  • Through taking on the leadership position of managing one of the main kitchens, I have become a highly adaptive employee, co-ordinating front of house staff with meal requirements and constant changes in food orders.
