Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventories of equipment, supplies and chemicals,
• Record test data and prepare reports, summaries and charts,
• Interpret test results,
• Revise and update health policies to reflect best practice and amendments to health regulations,
• Handle, label and safely store various hazardous chemicals and solutions to prevent injuries,
• Unit Safety and Health Coordinator - Schedule regular safety meetings, facilitating fire evacuation drills, HSNO annual assessment of collections, monthly HSNO checks, update Health and Safety board and coordinate independent unit inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical assessment, treatment, management and documentation of patients,
• Development of trust and rapport with patients by listening to concerns, advocating for wellness and educating on acute and chronic health issues,
• Frequent communication with personnel of all levels of the organisation and external providers,
• Environmental health responsibility for entire ship including pest control, enforcement of general hygiene and education, water testing and treatment, delivery of health threat assessment briefs, health and safety auditing of all departments, facilitating ship sanitation certification.
