I babysat for family friends where I was responsible for providing and caring for the child/children of various ages, I made sure that they were occupied, safe and comfortable I also made sure they were fed and happy and kept the parents updated. I developed responsibility, how to handle unexpected situations calmly and build trust with the parents.

As a volunteer at Yarram District Health Services I assisted with a variety of tasks that help improve the experience with the patients. My role involved looking after the elderly, serving food and providing compassion to those in need. I gained valuable experience in the healthcare setting, developed communication and teamwork skills and learned how to work in a professional environment while contributing to the local community.
