Worked in a Casual FIFO position as part of the Process Engineering team, in a full-time capacity whilst completing studies.

Completed daily reporting to multiple teams, and site-wide production reporting.

Completed downtime accounting audits to ensure data was accurately reflective of production losses.

Assisted with organising equipment repairs through SAP and ensuring that contractors were facilitated onsite.

Worked FIFO as part of the Engineering Division, performed various test work and sampling campaigns to assist the Metallurgical team and Senior Engineers in identifying process performance issues.

Assisted in the Metallurgical Laboratory, assisting in data entry, lab duties, and ongoing test-work for various projects being undertaken. Assisted in the collection of samples for monthly plant surveys and processing and reporting of the data.

Worked full time at Newmont Boddington as a Process Technician. Learned key lessons about safety, working in a professional environment, equipment and maintenance, and asset management. Learnt about mineral processing, and the recovery of gold.
