The venue had multiple areas to be managed, inclusive of a 4.5-star hotel, restaurant with a seating capacity of 100-120, multiple other casual dining areas, Gaming room with 45 gaming machines, TAB gaming bar, main bar and three large function rooms

Joined the company during the weeks leading up to opening. I was taken on to be a part of a tight knit group of managers to pioneer the opening of the business. Being a brand-new business, I was given the freedom to create and implement all staff training procedures and checklists to maximise time efficiencies. Shared human resource duties with the other two members of the management team and played an integral role in hiring staff and monitoring performance.
