- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Production and Sales, to design and develop innovative products for laboratory equipment (ICP sample introduction system).
- Create prototypes of medical device products and conduction thorough testing to ensure their functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. The new products designed got high reviews and sales from Agilent, Shimadzu and Analytik Jena.
- Assess existing mechanical products and identifying areas for improvement. The recent plastic spray chamber projects that I am currently engaged in have attracted considerable recognition, resulting in preorders from renowned industry giants like Agilent and Thermo Fisher.
- Create detailed model and engineering drawings of parts and assembly, including assembly details, tolerances, and material specifications by Autodesk Inventor, to facilitate accurate manufacturing and assembly processes. The production output of many kinds of ICP accessories has been doubled based on my design.
- Conduct analyses, such as design calculations, data analysis FEA, CFD and 3D printing, to evaluate and optimize mechanical systems and components.
