I am a 64 year old male. My partner, Joy is also 64.
Joy and myself are looking for a change of environment and are wishing to move interstate. We are both very community orientated. Consequently Dorrigo in the hinterland of Coffs Harbour would suit us with the climate and work lifestyle environment on offer.
I am self motivated, hard working with an ability to analyse work required for small to large domestic gardens. I am organised and maintain a clean workshop, sheds and property. We both treat where we live as our own. I have built new gardens from scratch and remodelled many existing gardens as well as maintained them
across the peninsula from Mt Eliza to Portsea. I have worked for builders as a landscaper on their projects.
I have also worked on larger acreage properties in Flinders, Hastings and the Somers areas on the Mornington Peninsula Victoria. These larger properties often had flora and fauna areas set aside for natural habitats which I have had to manage.
Joy and I currently live on 10 acres in Pearcedale. We have Chickens, Sheep, Alpacas, which if we are successful will be rehomed on a friends property at Metung, Vic. Until recently we had horses. We have 2 well trained dogs and have had cats.
We are responsible for maintaining the paddocks, fences, dam, trees/bushes etc, house gardens eg pruning of cypress hedges etc, and general house care, ie solar panels, irrigation.
Joy grew up on a property near Wangaratta Victoria.
She is a qualified nurse, midwife and naturopath. She has trained many animals and until recently regularly competed in equestrian events
Prior to living in Pearcedale, I lived in Kew Vic, where I had a inground pool which I maintained.
Joy and I are outdoor people, eco and environmentally conscience. Our footprint is minimal, as recycling and eco household products are bought and used.
I am currently in the process of selling my promotional merchandise business. I have a current drivers Licence and have a Police check and working with Children certificate which I am able to renew if accepted for this position.

When living in Kew, I was school council president at Deepdene Primary School,
I also coached one of my 3 sons football team and was on the football committee.
I was also on my golf club, Metropolitan Golf Club, plantations committee for a period.
I was a member of The Metropolitan Golf Club from approx 1984 until 2017 and regularly participated in club events. I currently endeavour to play golf on the many courses available on the Mornington Peninsular every now and then.
I have a small 14 foot tinny which I enjoy. I go to Gipsy point with friends each year for approx 10 days. We were there 2 weeks ago.
