HCA was founded 20 years ago with the vision of building a safe and supportive community for homeschooling children and their parents.
The goal of HCA was to build a community where homeschooled children could build friendships with others and to create an environment where parents could seek support and build rapport with other homeschooling families.
This would occur while children were simultaneously taking part in large scale activities such as singing, dancing and acting lessons and productions, developing their social skills. .
The HEA is a not for profit charitable enterprise.
Working at the HEA as a volunteer over many years has required flexibility to attend last minute media interviews for television, radio, newspaper and magazines to promote homeschooling and engage in community education.
