I have extensive knowledge on CPR and first aid. in addition, I am accredited in ASCIA Anaphylaxis training and I maintain a Asthma Australia certificate.

I am currently working in a life skills program at UOW supporting students with Autism of all ages and characteristics for Autism Spectrum Australia (ASPECT). I am effectively skilled in assisting teachers with classroom functions, lesson planning, and individual and group instruction. I take pride in my roll of assisting the next generations of youth throughout their educational journey.

My Position as a teacher's Aide at ASPECT involves assisting the teacher in the delivery of learning activities, assessments, support strategies for students and implementing tools to support individual learning (visuals, positive behaviour support, sensory supports and communication systems)

I am responsible for the welfare and safety of students in the classroom, playground, school activities and excursions.

I always maintain an appropriate duty of care to ensure professional practices are always met. I demonstrate effective planning preparation and accurately organise for daily school activities.

I implement strategies for student well-being and assist to support students individual strengths and self development.

I assist students with integration into community access programs and environments.

I am thoroughly familiar with the NESA curriculum.

As a level 3 Teacher's Aide I have experience in supervising small groups of students independently.

I also have practice in mentoring new employees in the abstract role of working with disabilities.
