  • At present, I work on a permanent basis on Victoria's state-wide Virtual Emergency Department, often with in-charge responsibilities
  • VVED is a public 24/7 service managing the care of non life-threatening emergencies in order to streamline care of patients with acute or sub-acute conditions & provide care in their own homes, whilst reducing unnecessary hospital transfers
  • Triaging often above 700 patients on a daily basis, this job role requires pace, effective communication, thorough assessment skills in a virtual manner, IT proficiency, time management, patient education, and the ability to recognise and respond to acute deterioration
