Summary

My entire adult life has revolved around teaching and coaching people, both in formal educational and business settings, and also innately as part of my character in every relationship in my life. The goal is always to empower those I meet, to work towards becoming the best version of themselves possible. Naturally schools provide leaders with unique opportunities to contribute to building the capacity of students and colleagues and in my twenty years as an educator, this very principle has informed my philosophy and practice. The ability to rise to the challenge of an ever-changing educational landscape has led me here, to a place that sees me desiring to continue to lead educational reform in a way that better prepares students, and where learning is viewed as a lifelong pursuit. I see my extensive range of skills in building, facilitating and motivating teams as pivotal to changing paradigms to move towards an engaging and innovative system that meets the diverse needs of 21st century learners. Across both my school and business owner experience, I have demonstrated strengths, including strategic planning, process improvement, and staff development. Previous work has resulted in streamlined operations, enhanced productivity, and improved team performance. I am committed to fostering efficient, collaborative environments that propel business success. I have a broad experience including office management, accounting, accounts receivable, invoicing, dispatching, database management, vendor negotiations and contract management.
