At Jam TV, I worked as a freelance Graphics Operator for APL (A-League) matches, utilising the Lyric system to deliver dynamic on-screen visuals. My role involved preparing and executing match graphics, such as team lineups, player statistics, and real-time scoring updates, ensuring accuracy and timely display during live broadcasts. I collaborated with the production team to create engaging and seamless visual experiences for the audience. Operating in a live sports environment demanded quick thinking, precise execution, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arose, making sure that all graphical elements enhanced the overall broadcast quality.

As a Graphics Operator at Gravity Media, I worked on live cricket broadcasts, where I was responsible for preparing and operating graphics using the Orion system. My role involved managing real-time scoring and statistical data, ensuring accurate and timely updates during live matches. I collaborated closely with the production team to deliver graphics for various broadcast elements, such as player statistics, match information, and match data. Working in a fast-paced live environment, I quickly adapted to any challenges that arose, troubleshooting issues under pressure to maintain a smooth broadcast. Additionally, I contributed to pre-match preparations, loading and testing all graphics packages to ensure everything was set before going live.

Coverage of various sport events including the NFL for a new Youtube project. Taking preventative measures to safeguard against faults, creating a quick resolution to any incidents. Monitoring terrestrial networks and distribution systems, managing headed acquisition workflows, and signal distribution into YouTube's and Google's network. Monitored the TOC alarm system, fault-finding any issues within the timescales required. Responding promptly to technical issues, coordinating troubleshooting and rectification efforts with internal and external stakeholders. First-line fault diagnosis and rectification; or escalated issues as necessary. Configure broadcast systems as required. AWS and Data Minor trained.

Preparing and playing out broadcast graphics using a range of systems including Chyron Prime and Lyrics in a live, outside broadcast and post production environment. During my time at MOOV, I have worked on some high profile events: Wimbledon, Commonwealth Games and The Great North Run. I also operated for BT Sport shows (UCL, UEL, Score and Rugby). In addition to this I have operated for CBS on The Golazzo Show, The Piers Morgan Show and Racing TV.

Coverage of all IMG arena sports such as tennis, cricket, basketball, table tennis and football. Organisation and coordination of the team on shift - including allocation of duties and escalation for any issues encountered. Monitoring and Allocation of all Transcoding Resources across the shift, Testing and sign off on delivery of any new Properties/Tournaments, Handling Additions/Amendments to the Schedules to ensure delivery of all streams offered to our clients.Leading and mentoring the existing team - Setting examples of best practice, leading by example and discovering training needs, and providing coaching where needed. Experienced in working in a live News gallery, working well under pressure, and on the ball for breaking News. Communicating across inter departments, where I created SOTS, graphics and VT’s. Assisting the director and producer with timings throughout the shows.

Content delivery, management, scheduling experienced in monitoring of all video and data playout across platforms. Working remotely with onsite production teams to ensure high quality of output. This involves pre-live delivery testing, troubleshooting and tracking. Achieving on-the-fly results, resulting in over 13.5B minutes of content in total produced with 2.2 billion views and 75 million unique impressions

New York Fashion Week Events (2020 - 2021)

After participating in the ‘NXT’ (New York Fashion Week Summer Programme) it prepared me to take leadership into the delivery of NYFW live events, where I communicated and worked across various departments including the fashion team in New York. I worked on the pre-live delivery testing ensuring the settings, audio, and video met to the requirements that we needed to go live. Taking a pro-active lead to ensure high quality of all live events, ensuring all events ran efficiently and to schedule. Troubleshooting with the production team and solving any issues that occurred.

Australian Fashion Week (May 2021)

I took a pro-active lead of the live delivery of all AAFW live events, where I communicated across inter departments and took on challenges to problem solve technical issues during pre-live testing. Taking a pro-active approach to ensure all live events were of high quality, and ran to schedule.

Experienced using various software’s (JAMM, VIPP, OSG and Photoshop). I supported the director and producer during live shows. I communicated across inter departments, created graphics on Photoshop, prepped graphics, VT’s and promos for live shows. Good organisation and forward planning for upcoming shows. Experience in working in a live working environment, assisting directors and producers throughout live shows, with timings, promos, graphics, asset management, monitoring playout, providing stills, VT clips, and product assets.
