National Account Manager

  • Managed the Frozen Fish portfolio across both Coles and Woolworths.
  • Negotiated a range review with a net positive SKU count, despite being the market leader. Leveraging category insights, I was able to rationalize the duplication within the category, which delivered mutual growth for both Coles and Simplot.
  • Navigated through a number of complex challenges with Coles at all levels within the business, consulting with external experts to support resolution and a mutual partnership outcome.
  • I built a business-wide Category Range Review template and schedule to support business resource prioritization and also drive consistency across our portfolios with the customer.
  • Built a business-wide JBP financial modeling tool that delivered a two-way P&L for both Simplot and our customers to help drive consistency across the business, as there were over 18 models being used.
  • Built the sales graduate program to ensure that they had a strong development plan across multiple functions within sales.
  • Played a mentor role across the NAM cohort, Category Managers, and Demand Planners to support their ongoing development and capability building.
  • Supported capital project business tracking and led a team to identify challenges to performance across a three-year horizon. We then worked together to come up with solutions to close the gap to the business case and presented back to the Leadership Team as a joint sales, category, and marketing team.

  • Creation of second JCP with WW after the success of the previous plan in collaboration with category, marketing and sales
  • Delivered new promotional mechanics to unlock additional MCC benefits which allowed for additional investment
  • Negotiated three price rises across an 18 month horizon
  • Identified and realised over $1m in benefit through supply chain savings
  • Developed and activated tailored activation plans across the portfolio in partnership with Cartology

  • Renegotiated terms with Caltex, BP, UCB and NSG
  • Improved MARS TAG score from 13th to 4th (highest ranked non-beverage supplier)
  • Built a 3 year CAGR projection, overlaying business profit which demonstrated that MARS was going to decline as a result of current strategy. I was able to utilise this view to influence internal stakeholders to build the right porfolio plans to support profitable growth for the business in the channel.
  • Entered into a strategic partnership with 7 Eleven which saw MARS co-create a Krispy Kreme range utilising our M&M's brand.
  • Recieved multiple awards and nominations including supplier of the year in Caltex, NSG and multiple nominations and wins for Account Manager of the year
