  • Responsible for processing and assisting in the coordination and preparation of weekly payroll in accordance with award rates and Council Policies, maintaining employee records and providing effective communications with all staff regarding payroll matters.
  • Worked with teams processing pay for Brisbane City Works (BCW), City Fleet, Qld Urban Utilities (QUU - Formerly Brisbane Water) and Brisbane Transport (BT, my last team) and I performed Position Maintenance.
  • Processing a very high volume of managing the Roster updates to allow employees to be paid accurately.
  • During my tenure, I had used HRIS and SAP systems for processing which had involved high volume payroll processing activities to tight deadlines, including maintenance of payroll and time data, occupancy and allocation of remedy cases.
  • In 2014, I was nominated to contribute to online testing of SAP processes prior to the system going live.
  • On numerous occasions I attended employee workplaces (City Fleet and Brisbane Water) to provide on-site information and training concerning payroll processing and timesheet management. I provided expert advice and negotiated effectively with clients, some of whom were extremely demanding. This required excellent customer service and problem solving skills. In 2012, I provided a short period of temporary back-fill support at Band 4.
