I believe in the strength of community and strive to make a difference. Throughout my career, my commitment to developing connected experiences with people of all ages has been at the core of my values. My love for learning drives me to continuously seek new knowledge and skills. I thoroughly enjoy working as an active wildlife carer with the WILVO organisation on the Sunshine Coast assisting with rescue and rehabilitation services for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. This role reflects my dedication to animal welfare and my commitment to making a positive impact in my community.
I have a genuine interest in helping people and animals in my community with a particular focus on native avian wildlife. In my spare time I enjoy my volunteer WILVO work, rehabilitating birds, painting, gardening and going to the beach. My husband and I have lived on the Sunshine Coast in our home here for the last 28 years and enjoy our beautiful natural environment. We have two lovely children aged 18 and 21, as a family we spend our weekends at the beach, surfing and swimming.
