I am a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner with over a year of hands-on experience supporting clients aged between 7 and 60+. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of complex needs, including (but not limited to) Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dementia, Acquired Brain Injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Global Developmental Delay, Schizophrenia, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
I am skilled in designing and delivering evidence-based behaviour support interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs, circumstances, and goals. I have successfully reduced high-risk and challenging behaviours, particularly aggression, through proactive strategies, therapeutic support, and close collaboration with families, support workers, school staff, and allied health professionals.
My person-centred approach and background in psychology and education enable me to create meaningful and measurable outcomes for the people I support. I am deeply committed to empowering individuals to improve their quality of life while equipping their support networks with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to maintain long-term positive change.
Duties:
I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, hosting special occasions, and taking pride in food presentation and creating a welcoming atmosphere at home. In my free time, I love exploring new cuisines, unique shops, and ancient architecture, and I enjoy travelling to new destinations with my family.
