I Joined the Queensland Police Service in 2007 as a recruit, completed 3 years of general duties policing on the Gold Coast until 2010, where I completed the diploma of public safety.

In 2010 I joined the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch, in 2018 I obtained the appointment of Detective and completed the advanced diploma of public safety (Investigations)

Throughout my time at the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch I was the lead investigator in a number of serious matters including and not limited to, Trafficking in Dangerous Drugs, Rape, Grievous Bodily Harm, Assault and Fraud.

Further to this I was the assistant investigator on multiple Homicide investigations.

In 2020 I returned to a uniform position where I was the lead investigator in relation to a number complex criminal matters whilst also providing guidance and experience to junior staff.
