Thanks to my three years of training at the Novotel Freiburg, I have a very good general knowledge of how individual departments are structured and how they can work together for guests.
Shortly after my training, I was able to work as a supervisor at the reception desk in the FourSide Freiburg during the pre-opening phase. Here I was able to help set up the reception, coordinate other departments and gain very good experience in the area of guest reviews and complaints. As this hotel was opened during Corona, the team motivation was also a significant contribution on my part.
As a supervisor at the Courtyard by Marriott, I was able to expand these skills even further and acquire new qualities.
The Courtyard by Marriott Freiburg was awarded by Marriott with a Silver Award for the year 2023. During my two years at the Courtyard, I was able to perfect my guest relations skills and go beyond there expectations.
I also took on responsibility for the Marriott Bonvoy program as a Marriott Bonvoy Connector.
This was the only year in which we achieved the target sales figures for Marriott memberships.
During my training as a hotel specialist which lasted 3 years. I was allowed to learn how to work in different departments of a hotel.
I worked at the reception, bar, breakfast service, banquet, individual and group reservations, housekeeping and accounting.
