My job as a Graduate Assistant consisted of many different roles including:

• Running and creating content for the Prep school Instagram
• Substitute school receptionist
• Nursery School educator
• Teaching sports (netball, hockey, soccer, cricket, swimming, athletics, gymnastics & tennis)
• Initiating, organising and running a weekly art club
• Senior School cover teacher
• Taking care of pupils in after-school care and liaising with parents and pick-up and drop-off
• Administering a 450-person co-curricular program
• Accompanying domestic and overseas school trips and visits
• Attending evening functions to support the school
• Supported the coordination of department events, fostering strong relationships among faculty, staff, and students.

From January through to May 2024 I was a nanny for two families, one of which had two children aged eight and two, one having cerebral palsy, my job predominantly was caring for her. The second family I cared for also had two children aged one and three. My job involved:

• Preparing the children for school in the morning
• Dropping and picking up from school/ Kindergarten
• Playing games, working on puzzles, and reading books to the children
• Putting children to sleep/ regulating nap times
• Completing household duties such as light housekeeping tasks or running errands when required
