Alan and Kate Gibson Scholarships
The Alan and Kate Gibson Foundation kindly offered a scholarship opportunity to support Year 11 students such as myself in Grafton to reach their potential at school in their pursuit for STEM. The criteria needed to apply for this scholarship included:
• Proven commitment to learning and self-development
• Socio-economic hardship
• Motivation to achieve at school and post school goals including either University, TAFE or an Apprenticeship.
Those who qualified and were chosen were granted $2000 across their two senior years of high school to financially assist students in achieving their studies in STEM.
