Objective:

Improved map coverage and usability for PDARCS to assist clients with navigation and facility access.

Key Challenges:

Existing map lacked clarity for entry points, key facilities, and overall coverage.

Responsibilities:

- Enhanced map details using JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap) and AR Ruler tools for building height measurements.

- Defined boundaries, including fences, building outlines, roads, and other critical features.

- Gathered road widths, building colours, and dimensions to improve accuracy and aesthetic appeal.

- Addressed runway measurement challenges using Google Satellite Maps due to air traffic and safety restrictions.

Testing & Verification:

Conducted GPS tracking to cross-reference satellite imagery accuracy.

Uploaded the updated map to a mobile device and physically verified key areas on-site.
