As a Freight Handler at StarTrack, I am responsible for efficiently managing freight in a high-paced environment, ensuring that shipments are securely stacked and properly loaded into company semi-trailers. My role requires attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety protocols to prevent damage and ensure timely deliveries.

Additionally, I operate a forklift to load and unload bulk products into semi-trailers, optimizing space and maintaining load stability. I work collaboratively with my team to meet strict deadlines while upholding the highest standards of workplace safety and efficiency.

As a Bottling Line Operator at Casella Family Brands, my role involved overseeing various stages of the bottling and packaging process to ensure the efficient production of high quality wine products.

Key responsibilities included:

• Forklift Operations: Safely operating a forklift to transport and stack pallets of finished wine products in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and organization for distribution.
• Fast Paced Packaging: Working in a high speed production environment, ensuring bottles were accurately labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipment while maintaining quality control standards.
• Palletising Machine Operation: Managing the palletising process by operating and troubleshooting the palletising machine to stack and wrap products efficiently for storage and transport.
• Quality Control & Efficiency: Monitoring the bottling line for potential issues, performing routine checks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to meet safety and production standards.

This role required strong attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a team oriented, fast paced environment.

As a Cella Hand at Casella Family Brands, i played a role in the winemaking process by handling the transfer of both red and white wine from 1-million liter stainless steel tanks, ensuring quality control efficiency in large scale wine production. i operated specialized machinery to crush and clean grapes before fermentation, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards throughout the process. My responsibilities also included monitoring and adjusting wine transfer, assisting with fermentation procedures, and collaborating with the production team to optimize workflow. through this role, i developed strong technical skills in cellar operations and gained valuable experience in large scale wine production.
