To get an opportunity where I can make the best of my potential and contribute to the organization’s growth. Seeking a position in a company where I can launch my career and build a valuable skill set.
When I began my job with Parc Engineering, my initial role involved assisting with cable hauling on the new metro line extending from Butler to Yanchep. Subsequently, I was promoted to Leading Hand, a position in which I was responsible for overseeing a crew of 6 to 12 individuals tasked with executing LV and signal cable hauls on the metro line.
My duties included reviewing MCR and electrical drawings to ascertain the precise locations and specifications of the cables being pulled. Coordination with other work crews was essential to determine optimal windows for our operations in the designated areas. Additionally, I had to ensure that drums of cable were transported to the correct locations safely and within the required time frame.
A critical aspect of my role was to ensure that all relevant safety documentation was completed and that our work adhered to established safety protocols. Upon completion of the cable hauling, I was responsible for the termination of LV cables, which then required testing and certification by a qualified WA electrician.
