Luke Timney

Melbourne

Summary

Melbourne-born and raised, I’ve been surrounded by arts and culture my entire life — a foundation that has shaped my passion for fashion, creativity, and community. Working at Up There Store, one of Australia’s leading high-end menswear boutiques, gave me the opportunity to translate that passion into real-world experience. During my time there, I developed a well-rounded skill set across visual merchandising, styling, event coordination, and content creation, while consistently delivering premium service to a highly engaged and discerning clientele.

Alongside my professional experience, I contributed to Up There’s social media platforms and built a strong personal presence online, gaining hands-on experience in content creation and digital engagement. Academically, I hold a degree in Innovation with a minor in Marketing, where I developed key skills in brand strategy, audience insight, content planning, and creative ideation. This unique blend of education and hands-on experience enables me to contribute meaningfully in dynamic, fast-paced environments where culture, creativity, and strategy intersect.

As a dual Australian–British citizen, I’ll be relocating to London on July 18th and am currently looking for marketing opportunities where I can contribute creatively and think strategically with a forward-thinking team in the fashion, retail, or creative industries.
