undefined2022 Good Design Australia Best in Class Award for Architecture, Installation Design
Made+Mycelium, a groundbreaking pop-up store designed for the eco brand Seed & Sprout. This innovative project showcased a series of furniture and functional objects created using mycelium, the root structure of fungi and was awarded the 2022 Good Design Australia Best in Class Award for Architecture, Installation Design.
Notably, I was given specific credit for my significant involvement in the project, as acknowledged by both the clients and the project lead. As the interior designer, I played a pivotal role in conceptualising and bringing to life the unique aesthetic and functionality of the space. Additionally, I took charge of product development, ensuring that the mycelium objects aligned with Seed & Sprout's sustainable ethos and emphasised the importance of product life cycles.
Furthermore, as one of the project coordinators, I successfully oversaw the execution of the project endeavour. This involved coordinating various other design team members, managing timelines, and ensuring effective communication among the team members, clients and the project lead.
