Summary

I am writing regarding the senior administration officer at the Mater hospital. With a diverse background in practice management, veterinary care, and medical administration, I am confident that my skill set will be an asset to the administration team.

Currently, I am a practice manager of a team consisting of multiple veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. It is my job to oversee and manage the workflow of up to 40 appointments and up to 10 surgeries per day. Most aspects of my job are time sensitive and therefore, my organizational abilities and time management skills are exceptional. I have a significant amount of knowledge and skill in administration and management tasks. I am an excellent communicator and pride myself on my ability to create the perfect balance of professionalism and empathy when dealing with clients and staff members.

Through my various medical reception and administration experience, It was my job to manage patient files, transfer records from other clinics and manage confidential information in an appropriate way. I was able to manage the booking system for up to 8 doctors and coordinate the schedule so that the day could run smoothly. I managed phone calls, patient requests, data entry and patient registration, along with coordinating referrals and hospital correspondence.

I would love the opportunity to work for the Mater hospital. I believe my eagerness to learn and ability to adapt are two qualities that will be an asset to your team.
