I am a compassionate and patient professional with a strong ability to connect with individuals on an emotional level, providing them with vital support. I possess a keen eye for detail and excel in identifying the most effective course of action for various scenarios.
My confidence in handling tasks independently and collaborating within teams is complemented by my highly organized approach to work. This combination of skills has been vital throughout my career.
My commitment to thoroughness and diligence earned me the privilege of marking year 12 end-of-year examinations early in my teaching career. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, I played a pivotal role in the development of lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum for the Department of Education in South Africa, which were subsequently distributed to educators nationwide.
A cause close to my heart is assisting special needs learners in developing their skills across diverse settings. I am a dedicated advocate for special needs learners, particularly within school environments. As a teacher, I tirelessly championed the rights of my blind and partially sighted students at the Department of Education.
My commitment to excellence was further recognized with the receipt of a certificate for Outstanding Performance in Consumer Studies in 2013, where I achieved the highest average in the district, even competing with mainstream schools.
