As a conscientious Clinical Nurse Facilitator with clinical experience in Australia and the UK, I possess strong skills in a range of aspects of nursing within multidisciplinary teams and providing training to develop the skills of the country’s up-and-coming nurses. I have a strong interest in facilitating innovative health approaches and I provide patient-centred care as well as having expertise to manage a team of nursing staff, giving me a strong knowledge of care delivery requirements in a variety of settings. A confident communicator, I am able to impart quality education within the multidisciplinary framework to deliver positive patient outcomes and to empower nurses to help people in their time of need. After a break from the workforce to raise my family, my aim is to secure a leadership role so that I can continue to utilise my advanced skill set to make a positive contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community, leading by example in the provision of high-quality nursing care. As the disaster unfolded the major disaster response plan was put in place and we followed it accordingly.
