1 Year working as C S E for Baptist Care In Forster
The course I was studying with Upskilled Online required a Community Care Work placement. The reason I did not finish this course in the 18 months allocated was due to my commitments to shifts in the residential aged care home. I am considering re-entering a Certificate 111 In Aged Care in the near future.
I ceased working for Presbyterian Aged Care for many personal reasons, not the least of which was my parents were both residents in the home where I was working, my father had Dementia and had to be moved to a Dementia specific wing in a home in Melbourne, my Mother moved with him.
I completed my certificate 3 in Aged Care during my work at Baptist Care in Forster. I am now living near Gunnedah & am wanting to resume my work in aged care, whether that is as a care service employee or domestic services .
