Hi My name is Maddie Gamble, im 19 years of age and in the future i want to become a Vet Nurse. I gradated High School in 2023 with a positive atar and knowledge. I currently hold a permanent part-time position at Millicent Chemist and Giftware, where I have developed a number of customer service skills that are critical in the veterinary industry. In any new role that is required of me, my effort and dedication to learning are demonstrated by my strong organizational thinking and "have a go" attitude. I also enjoy after-school activates within the local community such as playing netball for Mount Burr. This has enabled me to cultivate a sense of commitment and community involvement.

Additional Information

To improve my chances for a career I want to take an animal studies course, but I have to be employed in a Vet in order to do so. My goal is to acquire as much experience as possible. I want to complete my credentials II and III so that I can get my certificate IV in veterinary nursing. While doing this, I would prefer to work in a setting that is comparable in terms of expertise or atmosphere. My desire to learn more is fueled by my love of animals. I am a responsible, compassionate, and mature individual that exhibits a desire to grow and learn in a professional setting. My upbringing with numerous pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and lizards, is part of the experience I'm currently gaining in the area of animal care. I also regularly participate in farming activities like handling, drenching, crutching, and sheep work. I wish to enjoy new experiences.
