As a senior staff member I am responsible for:

• Training new staff on any position
• Overseeing cooking stations to make sure the kitchen is clean and well-organised
• I am trusted to count the tills at the end of the night.

At Nando's the standard jobs I would complete are:

• Maintaining front of house- taking orders, handing out pickup orders, clearing tables, stocking up the drink fridge and casual waitressing
• Cooking and cutting chickens, tenderloins, ribs, corn and broccolini, whilst maintaining a clean environment around the grill and deep cleaning at the end of the night.
• Deep frying chips, and deep cleaning the fryers
• Bagging items, and sorting out orders, whilst communicating with my staff
• Making a range of burgers, wraps and pitas, to customers requests.
• Restocking and organising the cool room when we had a delivery.

Through my training at Nando's I have gained skills in:

• Friendly customer service
• Basic cooking and cleaning
• Food prepping
• Working in a fast-paced environment

This event aims to collect donation, of necessary items (clothing, food and sanitasanitary item), and provide them to the homeless in the city.

• Completed daily domestic tasks in shelters to support and help the homeless
• I kept clean and organised stations, to make the resources easily accessible
• Used strong interpersonal communication skills to create a welcoming environment for the homeless
