My role as a casual retail assistant at Seed, Miranda equipped me with many skills and experiences in retail and a collaborative work environment. The role required me to provide exceptional customer service and to work with a large team of staff members to achieve store targets. I was required to assist customers in person and over the phone, use POS systems, help unpack and rotate stock and maintain a clean and well presented store. I interacted with customers proactively, identifying needs and offering suitable product recommendations. I worked across the main store, in the myer concession stand and in the stockroom for the brand, which required me to adapt to many different working environments and overall expanded my ability to work effectively with different team members to ultimately benefit the customer.

My role as a bridal retail assistant involved dealing with customers, handling emails, using POS systems and maintaining a professional work environment. I was required to work closely with brides in order to find their dream wedding dress, and connected with customers in order to make them feel comfortable, along with their friends and family, to provide a helpful and meaningful experience. My role also involved booking in and confirming appointments for customers, along with ensuring follow-up appointments and answering queries over the phone. As a bridal retail assistant I also worked closely with other staff members to reach individual and store targets.

My previous role involved displaying supermarket stock, assisting customers and packaging and handling supermarket supplies. I was required to be knowledgeable about the supermarket supplies, as well as always readily available to assist and direct customers. I provided extensive customer service and strived to meet customer and working demands.
