Adept at fostering learning, emotional growth, and life skills development, I excelled at Varsity Secondary College by tailoring instruction to diverse needs, including autism spectrum, learning disabilities, and culturally diverse backgrounds. Committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and confidential environment, I support students’ academic and personal growth through proactive behaviour management, mental health awareness, and social-emotional development.
With experience guiding students through work experience, community access, living skills, social skills, and travel training, I have worked closely with DES and SLES providers to help students transition into employment and independent living. Through task analysis and structured learning, I empower students to gain confidence, independence, and the skills needed to thrive in society. My collaborative approach ensures both individual and group instruction is effective, creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that enhances student outcomes.
