I am a dedicated, adaptable and confident individual who takes pride in my safe work practices. I embrace every opportunity that presents itself, deriving satisfaction in completing my tasks. I strive to create an environment that allows the empowerment of my patients through my trustworthy, empathetic and non-judgemental nature. I embrace cultural and professional diversity establishing therapeutic relationships with my patients as well as my colleagues. I am an organised and knowledgeable Registered Nurse experienced in treating and caring for patients, successful in providing fast and accurate assessments and working calmly under pressure. I am a versatile Registered Nurse with over 3 years of experience delivering high-quality care to patients between the medical and surgical divisions in both acute and long term care. I am a proven leader, skillful in uniting and guiding nursing teams toward achieving patient care goals, improving satisfaction, focused on continuously driving innovation and improving patient outcomes.
When saving a life I maintained the ability to remain calm and respond quickly in an emergency. Through the delivery of beneficial life-saving CPR and first aid I provided the community reassurance that their safety was my best interest. Communicating with efficiency to the public as well as my fellow volunteer lifeguards. This involved actively listening, role delegation, decision making, as well as a bunch of leadership skills. As a lifeguard it is my duty of care to provide the best possible protection and safety to the public, by involving my skills I positively improved the level of teamwork and cooperation needed for this role.
