Compassionate, dynamic, and hardworking educator with the drive and knowledge for implementing effective teaching and learning. Drawing from a background in Criminology and Criminal Justice, my philosophy of teaching builds from early intervention and the co-creation of prosocial trajectories, working to prioritise positive student-teacher relationships, equitable and culturally responsive teaching, and a restorative approach to behavioural correction. Equipped with a high academic knowledge of data-informed planning and teaching, my pedagogical toolkit draws from high impact teaching strategies to foster student interest and engagement and improve educational outcomes. Adopting a holistic, differentiated, and student-centric approach, my practice supports the growth and development of students as people, not only bringing a high quality of academic learning to the classroom, but fostering the skills, knowledges, and dispositions necessary for students to become confident, informed, and empathetic members of society. Finally, the institution of learning is a fundamental joy, and it is my great privilege to contribute to the education of today's young people and tomorrow's leaders.
