Before commencing, and whist studying my Bachelor of Nursing, I have demonstrated I am passionate and dedicated to supporting the health, safety and growth of individuals. Whilst observing the growth of the people I have supported, I have also achieved personal growth within my area of interest.
I began my journey in 2021 as a Teacher Aide in Disability Support at Roma State College and provided additional support to some of the students out of school hours through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. In 2023 I commenced working at Pinaroo Nursing Home where I was able to build on my patient care and basic nursing skills. I then began working at Roma Hospitals In Patient Unit as a USIN. This role has majorly benefited my clinical confidence, skills and knowledge and has been a very supportive role for me as an upcoming Registered Nurse.
Successfully completed 1080 hours of clinical placement at multiple facilities, working in areas such as the Medical Ward, Emergency Department, Aged Care, Theatre and Wound Care.
