• Krispy Kreme is a well-loved world-class doughnut and coffee retailer which has originated in US and now spreading rapidly all over the world
• Krispy Kreme Australia is the first franchisee to commence operations outside US, and operates in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and NZ.

• Responsible for leading Manufacturing for 4 production sites (5 production lines) in NSW catering to KKA retail, Wholesale, Grocery, and eCommerce channels – comprising of customers such as 7Eleven, Woolworths and Costco.
• Responsible for achieving customer service targets, along with other KPI's on efficiency, safety, quality cost and morale.
• Ensure proper asset care at all four sites and operate within CAPEX, and maintenance budgets.
• Ensure proper implementation of innovation projects and support the New Product Development team with plant facilities and manufacturing inputs.
• Managing 4 manufacturing managers directly and supporting the entire manufacturing team of about 250 members
• Supported own state as well as other states on training and trouble shooting with the newly implemented Enterprise Resource Planning system.

Key Achievements:

· Lead the transformation project of implementing the ERP system (Oracle EBS) as the Manufacturing Subject Matter Expert for the whole ANZ Krispy Kreme Business.

· Navigated an extremely labour intensive Daily Fresh Delivery Business amid COVID crises and the labour shortages that ensued, with zero supply interruptions.

· Changed the manufacturing culture to be focussed on their internal customers.

· Ran all the Limited Time Offers without any failure.

· Successfully managed all the short-term campaigns (unicorn events) that doubles or triples the daily production requirement overnight.

· Lead setting up of the largest manufacturing site of KKA in NSW.

· Brought in large savings through labour productivity improvement. (Pioneered dozen per hour monitoring and setting standards for all the states).

· Created Excel based systems for easy stock management and production scheduling.

· Created a system that facilitates my management reports to easily workout the optimal labour requirement based on the volume projection.

· Performance managed the under-performing employees.

· Reduced OT by improving the rostering methodology.

· Received the ‘Melon Head' award from the Krispy Kreme Global CEO for exceptional performance.

· Became a State Manufacturing Manager within 1 year of joining in as a Factory Store manager. (The promotion was proposed within 6 months of joining.)

• Responsible for the Material ordering, Production Planning, Manufacturing and delivery to all the KKA retail stores in NSW

• This is primarily a program management role where I managed multiple projects related to Global Innovation rollouts, large capacity creation for lead factories and managed the value improvement program
• Provide support mainly for the Key Oral Care Markets viz Indonesia, Vietnam, China, India, Middle East, Africa, Europe and Latin America

• Accountable for the final CCFOT (Customer Case Fill on Time) while meeting the targets of Productivity, Quality, Cost, Safety & Environment, Continuous Improvement, In-bound and out-bound logistics, Industrial and Human Resource Management of the overall site, amid unionized work environment

• Home and Personal Care Division, The scope of the role involved a complex range of products spanning 17 brands, and 53 product variants
• Accountable for:
• In-market launching of new products through proper project management and ensuring the end to end supply chain capability
• Regulatory compliance of products
• Assessing own products and competitor products through consumer panels

• Accountable for implementation of ISRS (International Safety Rating System) in all four Factories of Unilever Sri Lanka and its Head Offices

• Accountable for leading the Services Engineering team providing steam, compressed air, cooling water, forklift truck maintenance, hydrogen generation, fire safety system management, Effluent Treatment Plant maintenance, potable water supply and main workshop support.
