I am a hardworking and dedicated nurse, I have completed one year working in a level one trauma centre Accident and Emergency Department in Cork University Hospital. I have worked for five months as an agency nurse in Cork University Hospital. As an agency nurse I have worked in various settings including both medical and surgical wards and A&E. I studied a BSc in General Nursing for four years where I obtained a second class honours degree grade one from University College Cork. For my clinical placement I was primarily based in Cork University Hospital where I gained exceptional experience in medical, surgical and specialised nursing. Through out my nursing degree I worked part-time during the academic year and full-time during holidays in a local nursing home where I gained great skills in patient centered care and strong communication. I am highly focused on providing the best possible care for patients and ensuring that their needs are met. I am exceptionally organised and have excellent time management skills meaning that I work well under pressure and can manage the needs of individual patients effectively. In April 2024 I movedto Australia where I began working in a General practice part-time and also work agency shifts in hospitals. I am an enthusiastic and ambitious nurse who is always eager to learn and I am looking forward to the rest of my nursing career.
